Photopolymer Braille Signs

Precision Sign & Awning a leading manufacturer of photopolymer Braille Signs in Pittsburgh.

These signs are ADA compliant and are similar to the engraved style of ADA Braille Signs. Whereas the engraved style of ADA signs uses raster beads to create the braille, the photopolymer process creates and entirely different style of ADA sign.

The process requires creating a film of the signage and then using a vacuum forming process to create a one piece ADA sign which is almost completely tamper proof. This type of signage is often specified for school projects because the architects feel that the young children may pick the braille raster beads off of the engraved braille signage and they prefer the single piece (completely integral) as a more tamper proof option.
